Freebie - Photomask #3 and BaseBall MiniKit

For Digitial Scrapbookers :

Hi ! Today, again I have a 2 freebies, Photomask #3 and a BaseBall Themed MiniKit.

Well, the Baseball MiniKit is very similar to The VolleyBall Themed MiniKit, but i had to make the baseball kit cause my hubby was like u have to make a baseball kit..
ok, :).. u can i think use some elements for a Softball LO as well. hope u like it and can use it..:). Have fun!

Comment : I would like to say thankyou to everyone who downloaded the freebies last week and a special thanks to everyone who wrote me comments.
For Carole N. : Happy to hear about u'r grandchildrens' dreams, CSI to boob butt doc.. wow !.. its really amazing where kids get their inspirations from :) and thanks for appreciating my layouts.
I always try to make layouts thinking that, maybe someday after i am gone, my LOs would be worth looking at. Maybe get a peak into my soul or something..:)..lol.. basically, i dont want them to think "I wonder what she was thinking when she made this layout.. :)", this can be frustating, i know, i have so many old pics of my dad when he was in college, no scrapbook ofcourse.. but i have very little insight into what kind of man he was in college, he never spoke about it and we as kids were'nt really interested but, now, since we have grown-up and he is'nt with us, i feel i wish i knew more of him. So that's why i have to journal, sometimes i fell lazy and dont, i just write date and the title, but i try to journal.. i think thats quite important along with the pics..:). and also when i am old and my memory fades, i think i would like to read about the pics :).. "human" memories fade away so easily :)..
(i am a huge twifan, so excuse the "human" comment :))

ok, here are my freebies,

For newbies : If u need few tips on using the Photomask, i gave some, in my previous post, click here to check it out.
Also, if u have never used an "overlay" (part of my BaseBall-MiniKit) : just put it on any paper and adjust the opacity and change the Layer Type="Overlay" or "Soft-Light", for some cool effects.

Always a good day when you post your freebies. Thank you.

My Dad did always speak of his life experiences and I always thought I'd remember them verbatim but don't and now that he's passed I'm kicking myself I didn't write them down. Naively, I thought he'd always be here.

A lesson learnt to journal all the funny, touching, loving things kid, family, friends say and do as our lives get so busy we can easily forget,

I always thought I knew so much about my parents earlier years and now that they are both gone I find myself thinking of something almost everyday that I wish I could ask them. My mother moved to an apartment in our small town to spend the last three years of her life so she would be close to me and my family. I actually sat her down several times and asked her questions as I wrote her answers. I am so glad I did, but wish I had asked much more then I did.

My cousin sat her dad (Mother's brother) down and recorded conversations with him as he talked about his life. He lived to be 90 and so did my mom. How blessed we were to have them as long as we did.

I think you do a wonderful job with your journaling. Often when I was doing a layout for the web, I didn't bother to add a lot of journaling, but I try to go back and add it before printing the layout for my albums. With not feeling well for several years I just haven't done as much scrapbooking. I hate that as I feel my years are slowly slipping away and I don't want to wake up one day and realize it's too late to get all my photos put into scrapbooks. While I am not "over the hill" yet I have lived over half my life. I turned 64 in June.

I spent the last couple of weeks reorganizing all my scrap supplies both paper and digital so when I feel better I can get back to work.
LOL

I LOVE the heart photo mask. As always I can think of a million uses for it.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the baseball kit and I am so happy you are doing the sport themed kits. I would love to see a basketball kit, too.

THANK YOU, Binty, for all you share with us. You are so sweet to spend your time creating things to share.

I LOVE what Judy wrote about journaling all the little things, too. They are as important as the major events.

Our grandson told me one time that I needed to dye my hair.(it's pure white..not gray...LOL). When I asked him why he said, "It looks too much like Santa's beard." This was 5 years ago and I am still laughing about it. His mother was mortified. LOL And...YES..I did do a layout of it.
